Usage

[edit]

To be used on the talk pages of texts listed in Wikisource:References to Wikisource.

The template {{cite book}} (or a similar citation template) is used to format content.

{{Referenced |
* {{cite book}}
}}

Notes

[edit]

Multiple citation templates can be used in this template as bullet points. Each citation should be a separate bullet point on a separate line.

To avoid formatting errors, bullet points should not directly follow the pipe (ie. {{Referenced | * {{cite book...) without a line break.

Examples

[edit]
{{Referenced |
* {{cite book |last=Bloggs |first=Fred |title=Random Book |publisher=Book Publishers |date=2001-01-01 |isbn=1234567890}}
}}
{{Referenced |
* {{cite book |last=Bloggs |first=Fred |title=First Book |publisher=Book Publishers |date=2001-01-01 |isbn=1234567890}}
* {{cite book |last=Doe |first=John |title=Second Book |publisher=Book Publishers |date=2001-01-01 |isbn=1234567890}}
}}

Namespace sensitivity

[edit]

In the main namespace and its associated talk namespace, the first line of the template will read "This Wikisource text was referenced in:"

However, in a few cases, this template may be attached to other namespaces (such as Author and Category). In these namespaces the first line of the template will read "This Wikisource page was referenced in:"
