Helper template for adding the side headings present in "Ruffhead's Statutes at Large" in a way that is less cumbersome than the side-titled approach used in the original printing.

(As the sidetitles in later Statutes are effectively Sub-headings, this template has used a modification of the approach used by legislation.gov.uk, which converts the side-titles into sub-headings immediately preceding the relevant clause or paragraph.

Usage[edit]

{{ruffhead/heading|1|2}} immediately before the text of the paragraph to which the side-title would otherwise apply.

  • 1 is the paragraph number (this is used to create an anchor of the form 1.0, 2.0) as well as dispalying the number as it's roman numeral equivalent. For instances where a different anchor would be more appropriate the idx can be used to give a suitable anchor directly.
  • 2 is the content of the side title. If there are additional sidetitles later in the paragraph, combine them in the templates using a semi-colon between each side title combined.
