Usage[edit]

A wrapper for {{Unsigned}} and {{Unsigned IP}}, it takes input copied and pasted directly from the history tab as the first unnamed parameter.
For example:
- {{subst:xign|22:58, 14 August 2010 Example}} is equivalent to {{subst:unsigned|Example|22:58, 14 August 2010}} and produces:
—Preceding unsigned comment added by Example (talk) 22:58, 14 August 2010 (UTC) - {{subst:xign|11:29, 7 April 2005 192.168.1.1}} is equivalent to {{subst:unsigned IP|192.168.1.1|11:29, 7 April 2005}} and produces:
—Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.168.1.1 (talk) 11:29, 7 April 2005 (UTC)
IPv6 addresses and dotted decimal IPv4 addresses are automatically detected. Anything else is assumed to be a username.
Preferences must be set to display time in UTC.
