KALI THE MOTHER
The stars are blotted out, |
It is darkness vibrant, sonant. |
Are the souls of a million lunatics |
Wrenching trees by the roots, |
The sea has joined the fray, |
To reach the pitchy sky. |
Reveals on every side |
Of Death begrimed and black — |
Dancing mad with joy, |
For Terror is Thy name, |
And every shaking step |
Thou "Time", the All-Destroyer! |
Who dares misery love, |
Dance in Destruction's dance, |
