The Forsyte Chronicles are a fiction series by John Galsworthy, published between 1906 and 1933. It comprises three trilogies of novels, four short "interludes", and a collection of short stories. Galsworthy was awarded the 1932 Nobel Prize in Literature "for his distinguished art of narration which takes its highest form in The Forsyte Saga".
