Khwaja Ghulam-us-Sag Lain, B.A., LL.B.; b, at Panipat early in the seventies; educ. at Delhi; secured Lord Lansdowne prize for an eassy on the influence of European Civilization in India and its method of work; Took his degree, 1883; Helped the late Sir Syed Ahmed Khan in tranlating English books into Urdu; Protested Mr. Gladstone on the American question and the Indian Mussalmans: LL.B. degree of the Allahabad University, 1895; joined Hyderabad service as Inspector of Schools which he subsequently resigned; was Editor of “Asar-i-Jadid” (the New Era); was appointed Chief Judge of the Marlakatia State in the Punjab.
