Mittra, Barada Charan, M.A., B.L. (Calcutta); b. Panisehola, Hoogly, 1818; educ: Colootola Branch School (the present Hare School), and the Presidency College, Calcutta; obtained the Premchand Roy Chand Scholarship, 1871; passed B. L., 1873; m. Srimathi Krishna Mohini, d. of late Sreenath Ghose, and g.d. of Raja Sir Radhakanta Deb Bahadur, K.C.I.E.; three sons; Officiating Judge. High Court, Calcutta, 1902; confirmed, 1901; retired, 1909.
