Ricketts, George Henry Mildmay, C.B. (1860); e.s. of late Sir H. Ricketts, K.C.S.I.; b. 1827; educ: Winchester and Haileybury; joined service in Bengal , 1847; transferred to the Punjab, 1853; Deputy Commissioner of Ludhiana in the Mutiny of 1857; fought a body of mutineers from Jalandhar at the crossing of the Sutlej; Member of the Board of Revenue, N.-W.P.; retired, 1879; m. d. of Sir Edward Clive Bagby.
