Sinnett, Alfred Percy; b. 1840; s. of late E. W. Sinnett, Journalist; educ: London University School; Assistant Sub-Editor of the Globe, 1859; Sub-Editor and Leaderwriter for various London papers; Editor of the Hong-Kong Daily Press, 1865; went back to London, 1868; Leaderwriter on Standard; came out to India as Editor of the Pioneer, Allahabad, 1872; Vice President, London branch of the Theosophic Society. Publications: two novels founded on Occult Ideas on Karma, &c. Address: 59, Jermyn Street, S.W. Club: Junior Carlton.
