Sundrarama Ayyer, Kadambi, M.A., Kumbakonam; b. 1854; B.A., 1874; joined service as 2nd master, Zillah School, Tellicherry, 1877; joined the Government College, Kumbakonam, as 7th Assistant, 1887; passed M.A. the same year; 2nd Assistant Lecturer, Kumbakoriam College, 1886; acting 1st Assistant Lecturer, of the same College, 1S86; acting 2nd Lecturer, Rajamundry College, 1888; entered Provincial Educational Service, 1897; Lecturer, VII class, 1902; VI class sub pro tem., 1904; acting Professor of History, Presidency College, Madras, 1905; rose to V class, 1905; retired, 1906; Presided at the Sanatana Dharma Conference held at Nellore, 1915. Address: Kumbakonam, Madras Presidency.
