Frontier of India Campaign. 1863-64; Afghan War, 1879-80; Colonel on Staff Commanding the Royal Artillery, Punjab; became Major-General, 1895; Colonel Commandant, 1902; m. 1862, Alice, d. of late General S. F. MacMullen of the Bengal Cavalry, 1862. Address: 28, Bishham Gardens, Highgate, N.W. Club: Army and Navy.
