[FROM A CORRESPONDENT.]

A Blackburn Bull.—On entering this literary town from the south, the traveller may observe the following jocular notice placed on a board, by the road side:—“No road this way!”

Wigan Orthography.—In that fashionable division of the ancient and loyal borough of Wigan, called the Scholes, may be seen a board placed on the wall with this inscription:—“Lodging down hare.” And on a building recently erected in Rodney-street, in Wigan, is inscribed:—Catholick Sunday School.”
