Ashes scattered from Destroyer
The ashes of Admiral Sir Henry Harvey Bruce were scattered at sea yesterday. The Rev. C. H. R. Cocup, Royal Naval Chaplain to The Nore Command, conducted the ceremony on board the destroyer Bleasdale, which sailed from Sheerness to a position in the Thames Estuary. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bruce (son and daughter-in-law) and Commander H. Palmer and Mrs. Palmer attended the ceremony.
