CASTLEMAINE, Baron (Irld., 1812), Albert Edward Handcock, 5th Baron, B.A. (Oxon.); elected a Representative Peer for Ireland in place of 4th Baron Clarina (dec.), 1898, Lieut, and Custos Rotulorum of the County Westmeath (1899), in succession to Francis Travers Dames-Longworth, Q.C.; J.P., Co. Westmeath; formerly Lieut. 4th Batt. Roy. Inniskilling Fusiliers: second surviving son of Richard, 4th Baron, a Representative Peer for Ireland, and Hon. Louisa (d. 1892), dau of 2nd Baron Harris; b. 26th March, 1863; s. his father, 26th April, 1892; m. 23th Sept., 1895, Annie Evelyn, only dau. of Col. Joseph Thomas Barrington, of Charlton, Kent, and has issue a dau. Res.: Moydrum Castle, and the Hare Island, Athlone. Clubs: Carlton, Turf, Wellington.
