Cheshire Regt, 1905; Hon. Major, 1906. Resigned, 1910. Served with 2nd Batt. Cheshire Regt. in S. African War, 1900-1902, and as District Commissioner after the occupation of Johannesburg. Queen's S.A. Medal with three clasps, and King's S.A. Medal with two clasps. Served as Adjutant Depot, Cheshire Regt., from 1914 to 1919; J.P., Co. Tipperary: b. 8th Nov., 1870: m. 1907, Evelyn Ethel, dau. of J. Leahy, of Southill, Killarney; two sons, one dau. Recns.: shooting, fishing, gardening. Res.: Killenure Castle, Dundrura, Co.
