A.D.C. to H.M. the King, 1913-14; served in European War, 1914-19; Rear-Adm. Scapa 1916-19; Vice-Adm. Comdg. the Orkneys and Shetlands, 1919-20. Son of late Robert Keating Prendergast, of Ardfinan Castle, Co. Tipperary; b. 1864; m. 1905, Bertha Janet, only child of late Capt. John Binnie Mackenzie, 1st Royal Scots.
