Book 2 in the "Ferry Hill" series. Published 1913. Illustrated by C. M. Relyea. Harry (Harriet Emery) "steals" a student, Dick Somes, from their rival school, Hammonds . Her old gang and the new boy bond; and resolve (at least, Harry and Dick do, the others not really sharing their unbounded confidence) to start a fund for making much needed improvements to the school.
