Being the 13th year of the present reign

King Ananda Mahidol is pleased to give a Great Royal Command that it be announced as follows:

Whereas it is appropriate to revise the areas of Phra Nakhon Province, Thon Buri Province, Prachin Buri Province, ans Sara Buri Province by setting up Samut Prakan Province, Nonthaburi Province, Samut Sakhon Province, and Nakhon Nayok Province;

Therefore, by and with the advice and consent of the House of Representatives, He is graciously pleased to enact the following Act:

Section1.This Act shall be called the Establishment of Samut Prakan Province, Nonthaburi Province, Samut Sakhon Province, and Nakhon Nayok Province Act, 2489 Buddhist Era.

Section2.This Act shall enter into operation from the day of its publication in the Royal Gazette onwards.

Section3.Samut Prakan District, Bang Phli District, Bang Bo District, and Phra Pradaeng District shall be split from the administration of Phra Nakhon Province to form a province called Samut Prakan Province.

Section4.Nonthaburi District and Pak Kret District shall be split from the administration of Phra Nakhon Province, and Bang Kruai District, Bang Yai District, and Bang Bua Thong District shall be split from the administration of Thon Buri Province, to form a province called Nonthaburi Province.

Section5.Samut Sakhon District, Krathum Baen District, and Ban Phaeo District shall be split from the administration of Thon Buri Province to form a province called Samut Sakhon Province.

Section6.Nakhon Nayok District, Ongkharak District, and Pak Phli District shall be split from the administration of Prachin Buri Province, and Ban Na District shall be split from the administration of Sara Buri Province, to form a province called Nakhon Nayok Province.

Section7.The Minister of Interior shall be in charge of the implementation of this Act.
