มาตรา ๑๓ ให้มีอธิบดีผู้พิพากษาภาค ภาคละหนึ่งคน จำนวนเก้าภาค มีสถานที่ตั้งและเขตอำนาจตามที่คณะกรรมการบริหารศาลยุติธรรมกำหนดโดยประกาศในราชกิจจานุเบกษา เมื่อตำแหน่งอธิบดีผู้พิพากษาภาคว่างลง หรือเมื่ออธิบดีผู้พิพากษาภาคไม่อาจปฏิบัติราชการได้ ให้ประธานศาลฎีกาสั่งให้ผู้พิพากษาคนหนึ่งเป็นผู้ทำการแทน ผู้พิพากษาอาวุโสหรือผู้พิพากษาประจำศาลจะเป็นผู้ทำการแทนในตำแหน่งตามวรรคหนึ่งไม่ได้

Section 13 There shall be one Chief Judge of the Region for each of the nine Regions,[13.1] which have the locations and jurisdiction according to the determinations which the Courts of Justice Judicial Service Commission issues by publication in the Government Gazette. When a position of Chief Judge of the Region falls vacant or when the holder of the said position becomes unable to carry out his official service, the President of the Supreme Court of Justice shall order a particular judge to act in such capacity. No senior judge[8.1] or junior judge[8.2] shall act in the capacity of any position under paragraph 1.

มาตรา ๑๔ ให้อธิบดีผู้พิพากษาภาคเป็นผู้พิพากษาในศาลที่อยู่ในเขตอำนาจด้วยผู้หนึ่ง โดยให้มีอำนาจและหน้าที่ตามที่กำหนดไว้ในมาตรา ๑๑ วรรคหนึ่ง และให้มีอำนาจหน้าที่ดังต่อไปนี้ด้วย (๑) ⁠ สั่งให้หัวหน้าสำนักงานประจำศาลยุติธรรมรายงานเกี่ยวด้วยคดีหรือรายงานกิจการอื่นของศาลที่อยู่ในเขตอำนาจของตน (๒) ⁠ ในกรณีจำเป็น จะสั่งให้ผู้พิพากษาคนใดคนหนึ่งในศาลที่อยู่ในเขตอำนาจของตนไปช่วยทำงานชั่วคราวมีกำหนดไม่เกินสามเดือนในอีกศาลหนึ่งโดยความยินยอมของผู้พิพากษานั้นก็ได้ แล้วรายงานไปยังประธานศาลฎีกาทันที

Section 14 The Chief Judge of a Region shall also be a judge of the courts under his jurisdiction, having the powers and duties as determined in section 11, paragraph 1, in addition to the following authority: (1) ⁠ to order the heads of court of justice offices to send reports concerning cases or reports on other affairs of the courts under his jurisdiction; (2) ⁠ in case of necessity, to order any particular judge of a court under his jurisdiction to go assist in the work of another court for a temporary period of not exceeding three months with the consent of that judge; prescribed that he shall then send a report to the President of the Supreme Court of Justice forthwith.
