You shall not see the donkey of your brother – or his ox – fall on the way, and ignore them. You shall lift [them] up with him.

You shall lift [them] up
(Bava Metzia 32) This is loading – to load a burden that fell off of it.

With its owner. But if he went and sat himself down and said to him: “since [the] mitzvah is on you, if you wanted to load, load”, he is exempt.
