LVI.

In the name of the great life

be glorified the noble light.

A poor man am I,

who from the fruits,

A stranger to the world,

who from afar.

A poor man am I,

whom the (great) life heard,

a world alien

whom the Uthras of light made alien.

They brought me out of the abode of the good,

alas, in the abode of the wicked they made me dwell.

Ah, they made me dwell in the abode of the wicked,

which is all full of wickedness.

It is all full of wickedness,

full of consuming fire.

I did not want and do not want to dwell

in the void dwelling.

With my power and my enlightenment

I dwelt in the vile dwelling.

With my enlightenment and praise

I kept myself alien from the world.

I stood among them

like a child that has no father,

like a child that does not have a father,

like a fruit that has no keeper.

I hear the voice of the seven,

whispering and saying:

"Where is this strange man from,

whose speech is not like our speech?"

I did not listen to their speech,

then they became full of evil wrath against me.

The life that heard my call

sent a messenger to meet me.

It sent me a gentle Uthra,

an equipped, well-armed man.

He preaches to me with a pure voice,

as the Uthras preach in the house of perfection.

He speaks:

"Poor one, be without fear and dread,

do not say: I stand alone.

Because of you, poor man,

this firmament was stretched out,

this firmament was stretched out

and stars were formed on it.

Because of you, poor man,

this mainland has become,

has become this mainland,

the condensation was formed and fell into the water.

Because of you the sun came,

because of you the moon was revealed.

Because of you, poor,

the seven came and these twelve went here.

You, poor man! On your right rests splendor,

on your left rests luminosity.

Stand firm in your security

until your measure is complete.

When your measure is completed,

I myself will come to you.

I will bring you robes of splendor,

that the worlds full of greed desire them (?).

I will bring you an excellent,

pure turban, rich in endless light.

I will free you from the wicked,

save you from the sinners.

I will make you dwell in your Škīnā,

in the loud place save you".

I hear the voice of the Seven whispering and saying:

"Blessed is he who is a father to the poor,

who is a nurse to the fruit.

We have no father,

our fruit has no keeper.

Hail to him whom the (great) life knows,

woe to him whom the (great) life does not know.

Hail to him whom the (great) life knows,

who is alienated from the world,

the world of lack,

in which the planets sit.

They sit on thrones of rebellion

and practice their works with the scourge.

For gold and silver

they are troubled and cast strife into the world.

They are troubled and cast strife into it,

therefore they will go and boil in the fire.

The wicked will boil,

and their splendor shall be lost and hindered.

But I with my shoots and clans

will go up and see the place of light,

the place whose sun does not set

and whose lamps of light do not darken,

that place, the place

to which your souls are called and summoned,

as well as the souls of our good brothers

and of our faithful sisters.

Life is upheld and is victorious,

and victorious is the man who has gone here.
