XCVIII.
The day the soul goes forth,
the day the perfected one ascends,
the day the soul goes forth away
from beneath the wheels of death,
... is thrown into strife
into the Tibil of impermanence.
Rūhā sits in sorrow,
the 7 sit in torpor.
The skirt of the stars is tattered,
dust is thrown on the head of Rūhā.
The bell-ringers are weeping,
the watchmen are terrified.
The man who brought me here
brought me a splendid robe.
He clothed me with a robe of splendor
and covered me with a turban of light.
He erected on me an ather wreat
and whatever else the great (life) granted to the Uthras.
He erected me among the Uthras,
erected me among the accomplished ones.
He erected an ather wreath on my head
and solemnly took me out of the world.
The life supported the life,
the life found its own,
its own found the life,
and my soul found what it hoped for.
Life is upheld and is victorious,
and victorious is the man who went here.
