Note: The grounds for promulgation of this Royal Decree are as follows: The Establishment of Provincial Court in Bueang Kan District, Nong Khai Province Act, 2535 BE, designates that the Bueng Kan Provincial Court be of territorial jurisdiction throughout the area of Bueng Kan District, Pak Khat District, So Phisai District, Phon Charoen District, and Seka District of Nong Khai Province. However, at present, the Establishment of Bueng Kan Province Act, 2554 BE, requires that Bueng Kan District, Seka District, So Phisai District, Bung Khla District, Bueng Khlong Long District, Pak Khat District, Phon Charoen District, and Si Wilai District be split from the administration of Nong Khai Province to jointly be incorporated into Bueng Kan Province, making it appropriate to enable the Bueng Kan Provincial Court to have jurisdiction throughout the area of Bang Kan Province in accordance with the administrative divisions. In addition, the Charter of the Courts of Justice Amendment Act, 2550 BE, provides that a court of first instance has territorial jurisdiction as designated by the act establishing it, and a royal decree shall be enacted in the event of necessity to modify the jurisdiction of the court for the purpose of administering justice to people. It is therefore necessary to enact this Royal Decree.
