Paragraph 1- If one has a pit within another’s home and he has a path to reach the pit, he only has the right to enter during the day at a time where people have the practice to enter. This is only true with respect to a pit. With respect to a room, however, he may enter by day or night. He has no permission to bring his animals to the pit. Rather, he fills up the water and brings the water outside. Each one of them makes a key to the pit so that one cannot enter without the other’s knowledge.

Paragraph 2- If one has a garden within another’s garden, he has no right to enter it at night or bring merchants inside. The same applies to a house within another’s house. He also cannot enter the other’s house to go to another field unless it is for the needs of his garden. The outer garden-owner has the right to plant the path. If the party granted him a path off to the side with both of their consent, he may enter at any time and he may bring merchants inside. He cannot enter it to go to another field, however. Neither of them would be able to plant it.
