- Ettan, I have asked you to join us in the discussion. If you could explain why two translations are desirable then we might understand. You can not withdraw your translation from this site -- you provided it under the GFDL license, and you can not revoke that license.
- As far as I can see, other native speakers have said that they prefer your translation, so it is being used as the foundation of a merged translation. If everyone works together, and discusses translation problems, we will end up with an excellent translation. John Vandenberg (chat) 13:52, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
- The reason is the more translations the better, imho. Let me asks u: Can u simply change other translations as u like? I've never intended to revoke this translation as open document, even if its located elsewhere. Do whatever u like according to the license then. Its good to see one more variance of the work though. - Ettan, the translations can be changed by anyone, but other people can reject those changes. We do not want bad translations - we want everyone to work together to create very good translations. One person may do the initial translation, but other people review and discuss and maybe improve. We have many people who can review changes, and you can also review any changes. If you set an email address in your Preferences, the administrators will email you if there are any changes that you should review. John Vandenberg (chat) 14:50, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
