Chap. XXXVII.An Act giving the consent and sanction of Congress to a certain act of the legislative council of the territory of Florida.

Consent, &c. of Congress given to the act of the legislative council of Florida.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the consent and sanction of Congress be, and the same are hereby, given to the act of the legislative council of the territory of Florida, approved by the governor of said territory on the fourth day of July, Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and twenty-three, entitled “An act to provide for levying a poll tax.”
