Chap. CX.An Act to aid the vestry of Washington parish in the erection of a keeper’s house, and the improvement and security of the ground alotted for the interment of members of Congress, and other public officers.

Appropriations for burial ground.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the sum of one thousand five hundred dollars be, and the same is hereby, appropriated, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to be expended under the direction of the commissioner of the public buildings, for the purpose of aiding the vestry of Washington parish, in the erection of a keeper’s, for planting trees, boundary stones, and otherwise improving the burial ground, allotted to the interment of members of Congress, and other officers of the general government.
