Chap. CXXVII.An Act authorizing the Secretary of the Treasury to permit a wharf to be built near the site of the lighthouse on Stratford point, in the state of Connecticut.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury A wharf may be built.is hereby authorized to permit a wharf to be built near the site of the lighthouse, on Stratford point, in the state of Connecticut, and to grant the use of such land belonging to the United States as may be required for that purpose: Provided, The use of such wharf shall continue only so long as, in the opinion of the Secretary of the Treasury, it does not interfere with the interests of the United States.
