Chap. 166.An Act To authorize the Secretary of War to transfer the control of certain land in Oregon to the Secretary of the Interior.

Columbia River, Oreg.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary Lands connected with improvements of, transferred for Indian fishing camp site.of War be and he is hereby, authorized to transfer to the control of the Secretary of the Interior, for the use and benefit of certain Indians now using and occupying the land as a fishing camp site, two irregular shaped parcels of land containing in the aggregate approximately seven and four-tenths acres, located in lot 1 of section 17 and in lots 1 and 2 of section 20, township 2 north, range 15 east, Willamette meridian, Oregon, originally acquired by the United States as a right of way for a projected boat railway in connectionProviso with the improvements of The Dalles-Celilo section of the ColumbiaStrip reserved for roadway to the Columbia River Highway River: Provided, That a strip forty feet wide be reserved from such transfer for a roadway connection between the lock keeper's grounds at Celilo and the Columbia River Highway.
