Chap. IV.An Act making appropriation for the pay, subsistence, &c., of a home squadron.

Appropriation.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That for the pay and subsistence, increase and repairs, medicines and contingent expenses, of two frigates, two sloops, two small vessels, and two armed steamers, to be employed as a home squadron, the sum of seven hundred and eighty-nine thousand three hundred and ten dollars is hereby appropriated, to be paid out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
