Post, p. 718.Resolved, by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the authority given to the Secretary of War by the joint resolution, approved second May, one thousand eight hundred and forty, to continue the employment of two clerks in the business of reservations and grants under Indian treaties, be extended, after the expiration of the period for which that authority was granted, for the term of two years.
