Chap. LVII.An Act to confirm to the city of Fernandina in Florida, certain lots reserved for public use by the Spanish Government.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,Two lots granted for purposes designed by Spanish government.
Proviso.
That lots, numbers five and seven of block number two, in the plan of the city of Fernandina, be and are hereby confirmed and relinquished to the corporate authorities of the said city for such uses as were designed by the Spanish Government in the original plan of the said city: Provided, That before the issue of patents for the same, it shall be shown to the satisfaction of the President of the United States, that the said lots were intended to be reserved in the plan of said city, for a public use.
