No. 1. A Resolution explanatory of “An act making appropriations for the payment of revolutionary and other pensions of the United States for the fiscal year ending the thirtieth of June, one thousand eight hundred and forty-five.”

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,Claims pending at the passage of this resolution, not affected by the pension appropriation act.
Act of April 30, 1844, ch. 15.
That the act entitled “An act making appropriations for the payment of revolutionary and other pensions of the United States for the fiscal year ending on the thirtieth of June, one thousand eight hundred and forty-five,” shall not be so construed as in any way to affect the claims of those widows whose application for a pension, or an arrear of pension, at the passage of this resolution, shall have been made and filed in the Pension Office, awaiting the decision of the Commissioner of Pensions thereon.
