† l'an 2013 le 2 fevrier, sous le pontificat de sa saintete le pape benoit xvi, pai ete benit et nomme MARIE par son eminence le cardinal andre vingt-trois, archeveque de paris, assiste de monseigneur patrick jacquin, recteur-archipretre de la basilique metropolitain notre-dame de paris, a l'occasion du grand jubile du 850^e anniversaire de la cathedrale (1163–2013). je porte le nom du premier bourdon de notre-dame fondu en 1378, refondu la derniere fois en 1472 par thomas de claville et detruit en 1792. eijsbouts astensis me fecit anno mmxii

• On 2 February 2013, during the pontificate of his holiness Pope Benedict XVI, I was named Marie by his eminence the cardinal André Vingt-Trois, archbishop of Paris, assisted by monsignor Patrick Jacquin, rector and archpriest of the metropolitan basilica Notre-Dame de Paris, on the occasion of the grand jubilee of the cathedral's 850th anniversary (1163–2013). I bear the name of the first bourdon of Notre-Dame cast in 1378, recast the last time in 1472 by Thomas de Claville, and destroyed in 1792. Royal Eijsbouts bell foundry in Asten made me in 2012.
