Wikisource does not allow non-libre images. If it is free, the image should be moved to Wikimedia Commons and deleted or if it is not free, simply deleted. Can you please provide source and licensing information for this image? Thank you. --Benn Newman (AMDG) 17:58, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
- I had not noticed the watermark before. Santabanta's images are not free. I deleted the picture. If it is indeed free, please upload it to Wikimedia Commons. Thank you. --Benn Newman (AMDG) 20:33, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
- Actually I want an image to be included on my user page and i had uploaded the image for the same.But I could not.And I could not find a way to do that even on the Help pages. I want to upload an image that I have made to my user page. Can you plz. Help me in that. Thanks 21stCenturyDRAGON 08:01, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- For general help on the MediaWiki software, you may want to have a look at the general help pages on Meta. Concerning images, please read the image use guidelines. Most images should be uploaded to the Commons. However, images solely intended for you user page on this wiki may be uploaded here. As Benn has stated before, uploaded images must be free (public domain or GFDL compatible) or they will be deleted quickly. See our copyright policy for more information.
- To upload your image, select Upload file from the toolbox on the left, specify the file name and write a short summary. Add the name of the creator and licencing information to the summary. Also, please add your image to the relevant category, e.g. by adding
