An active southwesterly airstream is bringing showers to the south China coastal areas.

Nakri over the western North Pacific has intensified into a tropical storm. At 10 p.m., Tropical Storm Nakri was centred about 550 kilometres north of Yap. It is forecast to move north-northwest at about 10 kilometres per hour in the general direction of the seas east of Ryukyu Islands.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Mainly cloudy with scattered showers. Temperatures will range between 26 and 30 degrees. Moderate to fresh southwesterly winds.

Outlook : Periods of heavy rain on Thursday and Friday.

The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
