User talk:Hieronymus
There's a couple things I wanted you to know, please make sure that you identify the sources you are using on the talk page...and make sure that you don't copy from other translations, although you can use Public Domain ones to help with your translation. And also, remember all your work will be in the Public Domain, even more free then the GNU license, and easier to publish hardcopy with.
Any other guidlines should be on the Project page, where you can also add yourself as a member, and claim sections so that other people don't start working on it, at least in the near future :) Feel free to ask if you have any questions...

Hello John,
Many thanks for your welcome.
Would you please clarify which talk page I need to use for my sources? The main talk page, the talk page of the text under translation or my own talk page?
I look forward to working with you.

- It would be a good idea to jot down on "User:Hieronymus" any sources, skills, etc., which you have. That page is where you would communicate to others.
- Specifically, notes should go on the talk page that accompanies the translation. For example, Talk:Bible (Free)/John already contains the notes of others who have been doing the translation of that book; add your own notes there, mentioning the sources used, and please explain your rationale behind these changes :- you need to engage the other people who have worked on that translation, as the dialogue is as important as the translation itself. This translation, and all the decisions made along the way, are going to be plain for all to see and contest. John Vandenberg (chat) 14:50, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
