Hello James Bowick, welcome to Wikisource! Thanks for your interest in the project; we hope you'll enjoy the community and your work here.

You'll find an (incomplete) index of our works listed at Wikisource:Works, although for very broad categories like poetry you may wish to look at the categories like Category:Poems instead.

Please take a glance at our help pages (especially Adding texts and Wikisource's style guide). Most questions and discussions about the community are in the Scriptorium.

The Community Portal lists tasks you can help with if you wish. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me on my talk page! John Vandenberg (chat) 21:21, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wiki Free Bible Translation Project[edit]

Welcome to the Wiki Free Bible Translation Project! I'm glad you have joined us, and thanks for the work you've already done!

There's a couple things I wanted you to know, please make sure that you identify the sources you are using on the talk page...and make sure that you don't copy from other translations, although you can use Public Domain ones to help with your translation. And also, remember all your work will be in the Public Domain, even more free then the GNU license, and easier to publish hardcopy with.

Any other guidlines should be on the Project page, where you can also add yourself as a member, and claim sections so that other people don't start working on it, at least in the near future :) Feel free to ask if you have any questions...

I've been away for awhile, but saw that you claimed Chapter 6 of Ezra and put some formatting in just now so it's easier to get started. I look forward to reading your work!!
