Hello Joplju, welcome to Wikisource! Thanks for your interest in the project; we hope you'll enjoy the community and your work here.

You'll find an (incomplete) index of our works listed at Wikisource:Works, although for very broad categories like poetry you may wish to look at the categories like Category:Poems instead.

Please take a glance at our help pages (especially Adding texts and Wikisource's style guide). Most questions and discussions about the community are in the Scriptorium.

The Community Portal lists tasks you can help with if you wish. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me on my talk page! John Vandenberg (chat) 07:05, 13 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Pierre and Jean[edit]

Your change to Chapter 5 of Pierre and Jean intrigued me. Our text comes from Project Gutenberg, so I presumed that the translation "made his toilet" appeared in print. After a bit of digging (see Talk:Pierre and Jean (Bell, 1902)/Pierre and Jean#Translator), I have found a set of page scans and uploaded them onto Wikisource: Index:Pierre and Jean - Clara Bell - 1902.djvu, and sure enough, "made in toilet" was in the original. I have restored the original wording of Chapter 5 now, and I suggest that you comment on this translation on the "talk" page associated with this chapter: Talk:Pierre et Jean/Chapter 5.
