Wikisource:WikiProject Film/Not uploaded to Commons

Below is a list of films that do not have encodes uploaded at Wikimedia Commons, and thus do not have transcriptions at Wikisource. Included in this list are films that are (most likely) possible to upload to Commons in some form. Some items in this list will have been uploaded to the Internet Archive, while others to YouTube, Vimeo, or some other streaming service. Some will only be available by DVD, VHS, or some other physical storage medium.

It is urgent that these films should be uploaded to Commons as soon as possible! Time isn't nice to older films. Those public-domain films only available on YouTube, for example, are especially subject to wrongful deletion because of the massive amount of corrupt automated rule enforcement on that site, so YouTube videos are not in the slightest of ways durably archived. As DVDs, etc., are physical storage mediums which have to be bought to be used, and as many DVDs of very old films digitized by specific companies are rare or hard to find, they may go out of stock before anyone gets a chance to rip their contents, rendering them basically lost, until and if the DVD enters circulation again. Time is very limited to upload the digitized forms of these films; they could become basically lost at any time. So the objective to empty this list in particular should be taken very seriously.
