| The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) is a Cabinet department in the United States government charged with enforcing the law and defending the interests of the United States according to the law and with ensuring fair and impartial administration of justice for all Americans. The DOJ is administered by the United States Attorney General, one of the original members of the cabinet. |
