Sandys, George, born at Yeovilton, Somerset, s. Edw., archdeacon. Merton Coll., matric. 28 March, 1698, aged 18; B.A. from Corpus Christi Coll. 1701, fellow Oriel Coll. 1702, M.A. 1704, rector of Yeovilton 1706, until he died 29 March, 1716. See Foster's Index Eccl.
