Thomas Richardson
(fl. 1584)

[The author of "A proper new Song"] "can unquestionably be identified with the Thomas Richardson, aged eighteen, who was admitted pensioner to Caius College on April 28, 1572 [...]; and in all probability he was the 'T. Richeson' whose name is signed to a ballad 'To the toune of 'The raire & greatest gift.'" —"The Date, Authors, and Contents of A Handfull of Pleasant Delights" by Hyder E. Rollins (1919).
