I think I found him[edit]
Evidence shows he died in 1967—as this Burroughs was born 1903 which would be consistent with writing a book at age 28 (plausible), died 1967 (same year a reprint of Southern Antiques was made, coincidence?), and Inductiveload's research at newspapers.com shows that Burroughs had connection to the state of Massachusetts, a state near his burial at Connecticut.
