I have not found conclusive proof that Stennett (1780–1841) is the author of the two works listed. These works were both written by a Samuel Stennet who was not the famous Dr Samuel Stennett (1727–1795). Furthermore, the author of the Memoirs mentions that he lived in Dublin, as did Stennett (1780–1841). Furthermore, it is recorded that Stennett (1780–1841) wrote two works, and also he is the only notable Samuel Stennett besides Stennett (1727–1795), while these two listed works are the only notable works I could find by a Samuel Stennett who is not Stennett (1727–1795). —Beleg Tâl (talk) 15:00, 17 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
