I have created this page as original author of "The Head in the Window" but I have no direct proof of this. This was the only Wilhelm von Scholz I could find on VIAF. Reading those authorities and his biography on German Wikipedia, I think this is the correct author. He was publishing before the 1938 translation and he seems to write in some similar genres; For example, German Wikipedia says, "His poetry is characterized as mystical-occult" (de: "Seine Lyrik ist geprägt vom Mystisch-Okkulten"). - AdamBMorgan (talk) 22:16, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
- Having just written that, I have now found proof. This German bibliography (included as one of the external links in the Wikipedia article) lists "The Head in the Window: Stories and Poems - Leipzig: Reclam, [1922]" (de: "Der Kopf im Fenster: Erzählungen und Gedichte – Leipzig : Reclam, [1922]"). - AdamBMorgan (talk) 22:20, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
