- LOCC shows 3 books by author (no b/d dates); above link mentions 3 books written (but no mention of titles), but death date listed (1937) wouldn't jibe with publication date of John Wesley text (below)...unless it was published posthumously, or is a later edition:

There is a reference here. According to a note in that book, he is not the author of the John Wesley book, which is by another of the same name. Charles Matthews (talk) 06:22, 8 December 2015 (UTC)
