FARE thee well, forget me not!
⁠Grant me in thy memory place,
⁠Canst thou me no further grace;
More my fate alloweth not.

Fare thee well, forget me not!
⁠Ever dearest of my heart,
⁠From my sad thoughts ne’er to part,
Long as life departeth not!

Fare thee well, forget me not!
⁠Till we here have mourn’d enough,
⁠Till we here have home enough,
Till thy fate more claimeth not,
