This category contains 13 plates from Extinct birds : an attempt to unite in one volume a short account of those birds which have become extinct in historical times : that is, within the last six or seven hundred years : to which are added a few which still exist, but are on the verge of extinction, London, 1907. By Walter Rothschild, 2nd Baron Rothschild (1868–1937). Although the text of the book and most of the plates are out of UK copyright, these 13 are not, because the artists died less than 70 years ago.
