Under the provisions of section 4 of the act making appropriations for sundry civil expenses of the Government for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1920, and for other purposes, approved July 9, 1919, it is hereby ordered that all records and files of the War Industries Board now in the custody of the liquidating officer of the board be turned over to the Council of National Defense to be catalogued so that a permanent record can be made, particularly with regard to their bearing on Council of National Defense matters, and that a distribution of these records shall then be made to the permanent departments most directly interested in them.
